Should I be worried?

Ummm... It's been 72 hours since my first eBay auctions ended. I emailed all the buyers invoices within an hour of the auctions ending. All but two have either paid or said they're sending money orders. But what about those other two?

Should I be worried? Should I send them gentle reminders? Or should I cut them some slack and give them a week to get in touch before I nag?

Any words of wisdom DisneySteve?

I'm not Steve but I wouldn't worry too much yet. It's the weekend and some people take as long as they can to pay. If you don't have something in your auction text giving them a deadline some people will push it. Our text says we accept PayPal only and payment must be made within 48 hours of the end of the auction unless a bidder lets us know ahead of time that they'll be out of town or some such thing.

There's nothing wrong with reminders, though. Personally, I think 72 hours is too long to not have heard from them but again, we have a strict deadline.

You can post in your listings that you want to be paid w/i a certain amount of time. Used to be 7-10 days was the norm. Nowdays, lots of people use immediately-3 days.

You set your rules by what you post inside your disclaimer section of the ad. To me 3 days seems a reasonable amount of time. Someone could have bid and be gone for the weekend, etc.
